Overview

The objective of this contract is to develop a comprehensive concept and several high-end software components to demonstrate novel ways of analysing and potentially forecasting air pollution, based on the anticipated high-resolution weather predictions from the DestinE digital twin (DT) on extreme events. The work proposed here will demonstrate how observations, physics-based and datadriven models can be woven together to achieve enhanced realism and finer resolution of air pollution information and to provide better support to decision makers.
